Christine O’Connor – Foot Health Professional

Why am I looking after people’s feet?

It’s great to have people in your life  who give you a bit of TLC. I got into Foot Care because I had some reflexology from a lovely lady who was also a Foot Health Professional and she told me all about her varied and fulfilling job. I thought it sounded great and at the time I was having a difficult time at work with a fierce and aggressive boss and thought working for myself sounded great! Also I could take care of others by looking after their feet and knew from my own experience what a boost this could be. So I took the plunge and spent a year learning the theory of foot care and doing my clinic practice and got my Diploma in Foot Health.

So here I am – a mobile Foot Health Professional who can come to you so that you can have foot treatment in the comfort of your own home without the bother of travelling and at a time to suit you. I want your feet to look and feel good and during the appointment we will discuss what treatment you would like and what I can offer. Most of my clients have their toenails cut & filed and some also need  hard skin and corns to be removed.

I studied my Diploma in Foot Health at the SMAE Institute, a college in Maidenhead, a course which is accredited by St. Margaret’s University of Edinburgh. The SMAE Institute is the largest and oldest private sector training college for foot health in the UK.

I am DBS checked and have full indemnity insurance.
