First Appointment

The first appointment will incorporate a Neurovascular Assessment and taking your Medical History. This enables an informed and appropriate service to be provided which meets patients’ needs. All information will be kept private and confidential. In addition to these checks the consultation will include the normal toenail cut and file and corn/callus removal where appropriate.

Follow-up Toenail Cut & File

Subsequent appointments will help to maintain the correct length and condition of the feet but need to be made within 10 weeks of the first appointment.

Fingernail trimming – (discretionary cost)

If your fingernails need trimming in addition to toenails this can be added on to the treatment.

Appointments at the Clinic

If you would prefer an appointment at the clinic then please contact Christine for availability. These usually take place on Fridays and alternate Wednesdays so do need to be booked in advance. Parking is available in front and behind the Mill.

Reminders for appointments:

Please wear socks rather than tights and remove all nail varnish where applicable.

Cancellation Policy:

50% of treatment fee will be charged for failure to attend a booked appointment unless cancelled by the previous day.

All instruments are autoclaved and sterile for each patient to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

Where treatment is outside the scope of practice, such as surgical procedures or biomechanics, patients are referred on to a local podiatry service.
